New Year's Resolutions

What is it about January 1 that makes each of us feel ready to start anew?  I don't like making resolutions, especially not for a whole year.  And I never wait for Monday to start something when that could be 4 extra days to work toward that goal by starting on Thursday.  But one thing I usually do is make a list of home projects I'd like to accomplish for the year.

If I keep my list here, it won't become a doodling page, an airplane, or confetti!  I think it deserves a tab up top!

Definitely first on my list: my kitchen cabinets and counters!  Stay tuned for that!

A Second Blog? Really?!

I know, I have a perfectly good blog over at UpcycledPurpose, but I have such a hard time blogging about life, the adoption, etc. aaand my "art" of making my house a home.  So, like the TV show, I just needed "Life" and a "Home" editions.
